I'm not sure if anyone else on here collects the Star Wars Gentle Giant busts or statues, but I joined the Collectors Club this year simply because I wanted the Captain Rex exclusive mini bust. Needless to say, it is now October and I still have not received this.
Has anyone else got this, or possibly know a timeline when they are supposed to ship the "gift" for joining the club out? I know there is a Vader gold mini helmet as well, but I'm such a fan of the cartoon I opted for Rex.
My GG collection is fairly small, I only have the Vader ESB statue they released from ROTS, and the ROTS Vader mini bust. I would love to get the Boba Fett ROTJ statue as well, and possibly the Black Hole Stormtrooper statue, but funds have limited me for the past couple years (my wife and I decided 2 years ago to stop charging, period, and only pay cash and also pay off all our cards. So it has a very humbling effect on your ability to collect and makes you carefully consider every purchase).
Sorry for getting off topic there. If anyone knows anything information about this, I would appreciate it!

I did re-join this year, but I'm fairly certain that Rex has not shipped yet. A good place for GG info is www.gentlegiantcollectors.com Check the message boards, you'll even see some familiar names from here over there  |

Gentle Giant is my main focus of my collection (and I'm admin/owner of GentleGiantCollectors.com)
It may not be out this year but as long as you joined in 2009 you will still get it in 2010 when it comes out.

Great updates! I did long into my account again and the bust came up as pending, and stated it was scheduled to be shipped 11/09. So, that was new since I last checked.

Not only did I want to be the first post of the new year (yeah!), but also wanted to mention I got this yesterday. He is on the small size, (which is an understatement), but still nice. I'm not so sure I'm keeping him, since he is so small.
